SPEAKER: SYLVIA TAMALE
Sylvia Tamale, author of Decolonization and Afro-Feminism, is a professor of Law and a sociologist at Makerere University and a former Dean of its Law Faculty. Her research focuses on gender, law and sexuality, feminist jurisprudence and women in politics. She’s also an award-winning human rights defender for women, sex workers, homosexuals, and refugees.
